Patricia A. O'Malley, CPA

Ms. O’Malley’s provided a wide range of services to nonprofit organizations for over 30 years, serving as a technical reviewer of the Form 990, managing audits, and providing consulting services with a focus on internal controls, policies, and outsourcing.  She is a CPA and a long-time volunteer with the Greater Washington Society of CPAs.

Ms. O’Malley is the founder and current member of the GWSCPA Nonprofit Accountability Task Force which is responsible for www.nonprofitaccountingbasics.org and a member of the board of directors for both the Climate Change Working Group and the Sierra Club Catoctin Group. Previous volunteer positions include serving as the President of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs, as the Treasurer of Nature Forward (formerly Audubon Naturalist Society), as a member of the board of directors of Maryland Nonprofits and as an associate member of the AICPA Exempt Tax Resource Task Force.
