Lilibeth Salcedo, CPA

Lilibeth Salcedo is a Director in E. Cohen’s Assurance Services Group. She has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting with extensive background in not-for-profit, employee benefit plans, and for-profit entities. She is responsible for planning and managing all phases of client engagements that includes financial audits, reviews and compilations and ensuring that quality client service is provided in a timely, responsive, and efficient manner.
Prior to joining the firm, Lilibeth worked as an Audit Director at Citrin Cooperman, where she spent nearly five years managing attest and non-attest engagements in variety of industries including not-for-profit, employee benefit plans, healthcare, and for-profit entities. She was also a co-leader of the firm’s Women Initiative and was active in marketing efforts and business development to grow the firm’s audit presence in the Greater Washington area. Prior to moving to Citrin Cooperman, Lilibeth worked as an auditor at Regardie Brooks & Lewis, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2015, for nearly 14 years. Before moving to Maryland, she started her career in the Philippines at Sycip, Gorres & Velayo, a member firm of Arthur Andersen.

Lilibeth graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) in Virginia and a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA). She recently completed the GWSCPA’s Margaret DeBoe Leadership program and is a member of the Women’s Leadership Section committee.
