Deep Master

Deep is a tax manager at Han Group. Deep joined Han Group in 2023. Deep has been serving the nonprofit sector for over 12 years. Deep has provided tax services to various non-profit organization including but not limited to hospitals, healthcare non-profits, public charities, private foundations, social welfare organizations, trade associations, private schools, and affordable housing organizations. Prior to joining Han Group, Deep launched his public accounting career at Raffa, P.C., now known as Marcum, LLP in the national non-profit tax group for 10 years. Deep provided tax compliance and consulting services to over 100 non-profits. Deep mainly worked with clients to complete their 990 and 5500 filings. Deep then joined SC&H Group in 2021 and worked there for two years in their business tax department and provided tax compliance and consulting services to two large Maryland hospital systems, private schools and affordable housing organizations in the greater Baltimore and DC areas. In addition to providing client services, Deep has taught courses related to Form 990 compliance, lobbying, and compensation issues for tax-exempt organizations.

Deep has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Taxation, both from American University. Deep serves as the board treasurer and finance committee chair for An Open Book Foundation and is a champion board member of Pool and Hot Tub Alliance.
