Robert is a shareholder for Rubino & Company and devotes most his time to serving nonprofit clients. He has over 30 years of experience serving exempt organizations, ranging from small to large complex organizations. These engagements have included the specialized requirements of audits performed under the Uniform Guidance. Robert enjoys explaining nonprofit accounting concepts to clients to help them understand their financial statements. He also performs audits of 401(k) and 403(b) pension plans. Robert received his accounting degree from the University of Maryland and has been with Rubino & Company since 1991. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Contract Management Association.
