The GWSCPA’s Educational Foundation (creator of is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for their Annual Nonprofit Symposium November 16-18, 2021.

This year’s Symposium will feature two days of engaging virtual learning, and the option to add on a half day of long awaited face to face content and networking for those in the DC area. Whichever option you choose, all attendees will qualify for up to 24 CPE credits and will gain access to a community of resources that extend far beyond a couple of days in November.

The relevance of the nonprofit sector continues to grow, with approximately 1.5 million nonprofits operating in the US, now employing 14% of our workforce. Finance and accounting professionals in these organizations are stewards of the public trust and face increasingly complex management, fundraising and compliance environments.

The Symposium is an unparalleled educational and networking event for the professionals who do the hard work of managing our nation’s nonprofits, and provides access to leading national experts, regulators and peers from around the country.

For those that would otherwise be left behind this year, the GWSCPA Educational Foundation is offering a limited number of scholarship registrations worth $875 each for staff of exempt organizations with a budget of $3,000,000 or less.

The program spans 2.5 days and is a unique opportunity for executive, accounting and finance staff- often alone in their organizations- to connect with more than 750 peers, stay current on latest regulatory compliance issues and management trends and to further hone and refresh their technical skills.
